What Lisette Mendez said
I would like to acknowledge our students who participated in in recent peaceful walkouts in support of immigration rights that were going on last week in our community. Our students gathered respectfully at City Hall to make their voices heard on an issue that is deeply meaningful to many of us in our community, including the board.Lisette MendezBoard member · El Monte City School District boardWatch the full meeting from 23:57
