What Bill Osborn said
Chair, I just looked at the history of the 4-day school week. It actually originated in 1936, was fully implemented in 1973. To reduce operating costs and to conserve energy. There are approximately 2,200 schools in 26 states that are on a 4-day school week, and we have almost 100,000 public schools in this country.Bill OsbornBoard Member · Pocatello District Board of TrusteesWatch the full meeting from 53:19
