A ranking, with its marginEarly readLess of this board's speech is named so far, so its ranks are wider. Each rank is a 90% range across 11 resampled meetings, so "2nd–4th" means the data can't place them more exactly. The ranges may widen as we name more of the speech.
Coverage: about 78% of members’ speaking time named (56%–79%)

Minutes = time we heard them speak per meeting, from the speech we have named so far, so each is a floor: at least that much.

What board members said

Our most critical area is really in the classroom. And, and it's true, that's just automatic, you know, it's out there, there's research and everything, but everybody knows lower class numbers, more effective, more time for, uh, intentional instruction, differentiation instruction, time for the teacher to plan even appropriately because they're not overwhelmed with just the size of that classroom.Marcos De Los SantosTrustee · Weslaco Independent School District Board of TrusteesWatch the full meeting from 43:09
I see that we're spending funds all these different areas, all these different positions. You know, you see, it's like you always say, see people say, well, we're top-heavy, right? But then you still have maintenance, nutrition, and transportation that are understaffed, right? And have levels that they meet, levels that are kind of critical.Marcos De Los SantosTrustee · Weslaco Independent School District Board of TrusteesWatch the full meeting from 2:18:56
